Alexei Putintsev and Klim Efimov make their first appearances as James – on May 17 and 18 respectively.

Vladislav Sulimsky will perform the title role for the first time at the Bolshoi (performances will take place on 13, 15 & 18 May). Sergei Skorokhodov makes his first appearance as Andrei (14 & 17 May).

Alexandra Trikoz  is promoted from Artist to Soloist. 

Klim Efimov makes his first appearance as Lord Wilson/ Taor.

Alexander Borodin will perform the part of Leporello (27.04).
Andrei Potaturin makes his first appearance in the title role. Anastasia Shchegoleva is going to perform the role of Donna Elvira in the Bolshoi Theatre production. Daria Belousova makes her first appearance in the role of Zerlina, Alexei Kulagin – in the role of Masetto (28.04).

Valery Makarov makes his first appearance in the role of Conte di Libenskof.

Konstantin Shushakov is going to perform the role of Don Alvaro (performances will take place on 13 & 15 April). Nikolai Kamensky makes his Bolshoi debut as Don Profondo, Vadim Kravets – as Lord Sidney (their performances will take place on 14 & 16 April).

The premiere of the ballet The Art of Fugue is being postponed. The new date will be announced later. Due to the current events, having had negotiations with the staging team, we have made a decision to postpone the premiere of the ballet The Art of Fugue. This project is extremely important to the Bolshoi Theatre, a significant amount of work has been already done by now, and we hope to be able to realise this project.

“When the time comes, I hope to return to Moscow to complete this production”, said Alexei Ratmansky, the choreographer of the ballet.

Svetlana Lachina makes her first appearance as Countess Almaviva.

On the 30^th and 31^st of March, the earlier announced performances of the ballet The Art of Fugue will be replaced by the ballet Don Quixote. Tickets previously purchased for the performances The Art of Fugue are valid for the performance of the ballet Don Quixote.

On the 1^st and 2^nd of April (12:00 & 19:00), the earlier announced performances of the ballet The Art of Fugue will be replaced by the ballet Spartacus. Tickets previously purchased for the performances The Art of Fugue are valid for the performance of the ballet Spartacus.

We have also added two performances of the ballet Giselle (version by Y. Grigorovich) on the 23^rd and 24^th of March, three performances of the ballet Swan Lake on the 26^th (12:00 & 19:00) and 27^th of March and a performance of the ballet Don Quixote on the 29^th of March.

March 17
Kristina Kretova is going to perform the title part for the first time.

The opera Falstaff, ossia Le tre burle will be presented in Russia for the first time, on the Chamber Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre. It is a true rarity, a work which is totally unknown to the Russian audience.

The gala concert of Placido Domingo Spring. Love. Opera, which was supposed to be held on the 8^th of March has been cancelled. Tickets purchased at the box offices of the Bolshoi Theatre (paid for by cash or card), can be returned at the box offices of the theatre.

Margarita Gritskova will sing Rosina at the Bolshoi for the first time.

It is out of our profound respect for our artists, colleagues and community that we have suspended our concert series with The Bolshoi Theater until peace is restored. We will continue to dedicate ourselves to supporting and protecting our artists, our shared principles, and hope that we may soon meet in a time of peace and understanding around the world.

David Motta Soares and Igor Tsvirko make their first appearances as James – on February 19 (12:00) and 20 respectively.

For the first time at the Bolshoi Theatre, the leading role will be performed by Elisabet Strid, while Wolfgang Ablinger-Sperrhacke will appear as Herodes. These performances with be held on the 8^th and 10^th of February.
