Richard Strauss programme
A concert of works by Richard Strauss continues the Bolshoi Theatre philarmonia season ticket concerts at the Big Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire. At the concert, the Bolshoi Theatre will be presenting the famous German singer and Vienna State Opera soloist, Ricarda Merbeth, in her first performance in Russia.

Florian Boesch returns to the Boshoi
On 27 and 28 February, the young but already famous - particularly in this role - Austrian baritone, Florian Boesch, will appear at the Bolshoi as Papageno (The Magic Flute). Boesch has been nominated for a Golden Mask National Theatre Festival award. And the performance of The Magic Flute, on the first day of the singer’s short tour, comes under the Festival auspices.

The Bolshoi Theatre is happy to present once again at its New Stage the Canadian trumpeter, Frederick Mills, one of the world's most outstanding performers of brass instruments. He will be appearing together with the Theatre's Bolshoi Brass Ensemble of Soloists.
