Biography
Jacquelin Barrett trained at the Royal Ballet School and danced eight years at London Festival Ballet (now: English National Ballet). She then worked as a ballet master at the Central Sсhool of Ballet, the Northern Ballet and English National Ballet.She is a much sought-after guest ballet master and teacher for many of the major ballet companies. As assistant choreographer to Christopher Wheeldon Jacquclin was closely involved in the creations of Alice's adventures in Wonderland and The Winter's Tale for The Royal Ballet in London and Cinderella for San Francisco Ballet and The Nutcracker for the Joffrey Ballet. She travels all over the world to stage Christopher Wheeldon's works. Jacquelin is the associate director for the musical An American in Paris. She is also the private teacher/ coach of Lauren Cuthbertson, principal dancer with the Royal Ballet.
