Виктория Каркачева

Biography

Was born in the Volgograd region.
In 2015 she graduated from the Popov Academy of Choral. In the productions of the Academy’s opera studio, she has performed the parts of Lubasha (Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride), Olga (Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin), Three ladies (Mozart`s The Magic Flute), Cherubino (Mozart`s The Marriage Figaro), Sorceress (Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas).

She has toured in Germany, Greece, Switzerland, France together with the Academy Chamber Choir.

In 2015 she was admitted to the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre, where she has performed as Olga (Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin), Laura (Tchaikovsky`s Iolanta), Maddalena (Verdi’s Rigoletto).

In December 2015 she took part in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta at the Concert hall of the Tchaikovsky Memorial Museum (Klin).

In 2017 she participated in Bolshoi Theatre new production of Weinberg`s The Idiot, performing the role of Aglaya (directed by Evgeny Arye, conducted by Michał Klauza).
