Biography
Peder Freiij has worked together with Mats Ek in a number of dance and theatre productions, such as Dance with your Neighbour (Stockholms Stadsteater), Smoke (Swedish Television SVT), Solo for Two (The Cullberg Ballet), On Malta (The Orion Theatre), Sleeping Beauty (The Hamburg Opera), Appartement (The Paris Opéra Ballet), Andromake (The Royal Dramatic Theatre) and Aluminium (Compañia Nacional de Danza, Madrid).Other works include a number of theatre productions under the direction of Carl Dunér, such as Waiting for Godot, The Wedding, Endgame, The Tower of the Knight and Platonov, all at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, as well as the opera Hummelhonung at the Royal Opera House and Birgitta at the Vadstena Academy, both by the composer Carl Unander Scharin. Peder Freiij has also been engaged as an artist for the adornment of public buildings/places, for example Rosenlundsbadet in Jönköping and Södertälje Hospital, and he has also had exhibitions at, for example, Galleri Andreas Brändström in Stockholm and Yokohama Art Triennial in Japan.
