Heinrich Tröger

Biography

Heinrich Tröger is a graduate engineer-architect (architectural engineer (PE)) and stage designer who has worked with John Neumeier for many years.

After studying architecture, he worked as a technical assistant under Max von Vequel at the Frankfurt Opera.
After years of being a freelance stage designer, he took over the management of the workshops at the National Theater Mannheim and later at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt.

Later he was the technical director of several productions at the Salzburg Festival and the director of the decoration workshops at the Hamburg State Opera.

In addition, Heinrich Tröger worked as a lecturer and assistant to the chair of the stage design department at the Mozarteum Salzburg.
