Pavel Suchkov

Biography

Pavel Suchkov was born in 1969 in Moscow.
ln 1989 he graduated from the Tchaikovsky Academic Music College at the Moscow State Conservatory. Graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory in 1989.
Graduated from the Gnesins' Academy of Music in 1996, specializing in choral conducting.
Worked at the A.S. Arensky Novgorod Regional Phi­lharmonic Society, the Komi Republican Philharmon­ ic Society (Syktyvkar), and was chief choirmaster at the Moscow State Creative Workshop (Тheatre) under the direction of Alexey Rybnikov.
From 1993 to 2014, he was the chief chorus master of the Moscow State Academic Operetta Theatre, taking part in all premiere and repertory performances.
ln 1991 he began cooperation with the Moscow Boys Choir Chapel. ln 2014-2016 he was the head of the chapel.
ln 2016 he received invitations to the Tianjin Grand Theatre and the Нагbiп Grand Theatre (People's Repub­lic of China). Не took part in the productions of operas Turandot bу G. Puccini and Pagliacci bу R. Leoncavallo.

ln November 2017 he became chorus master of the В.А. Pokrovsky Chamber Music Theatre.
Since September 2018 - Chorus master of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia (Boris Pokrovsky Chamber Stage).
