Sony Centre for the Performing Arts
The tour will open with a series of performances of Swan Lake at Toronto’s main theatre and concert venue — the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (auditorium capacity — close on 3200 seats!). The accompanying orchestra will be made up of musicians from the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and from the Canadian Opera and the National Ballet of Canada Orchestras.

Canada’s National Arts Centre
The Canadian part of the tour will wind up with performances in the capital: the inhabitants of Ottawa will see five performances of Don Quixote. And again the city’s best venue — Southam Hall will be made available to the Bolshoi. The hall is named after Hamilton Southam who was the founder of Canada’s National Arts Centre. Accompanying the Bolshoi Ballet, will be the National Arts Centre Orchestra.
