About two years ago a concert version of fascinating Il Viaggio a Reims by Rossini was performed on the Bolshoi’s Historical stage. After several performances it became clear that we should include this opera in our repertoire. This idea came from the Music Director of the Bolshoi: Tugan Sokhiev conducted it in 2017, and now he also serves as a conductor. |
