Benois de la danse nominees announced
Bolshoi Theatre’s artists – Anastasia Stashkevich and Vyacheslav Lopatin – are up for the Best Dancers. A lovely duet on stage and in real life, they are nominated separately, each for their personal achievements. The jury members praised Anastasia Stashkevich for her role of Dolly in John Neumeier’s Anna Karenina, while Vyacheslav Lopatin was nominated for his performance in Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's Faun within the concert A Play For Him at the Bolshoi Theatre.
The award ceremony and gala-concerts will take place on the Historical Stage on 21 and 22 May. This year the ever-popular festival will be run for the 27th time. And for the first time the permanent chairman of the jury Yuri Grigorovich will have a colleague: principal dancer of the Bolshoi, double Benois de la danse winner Svetlana Zakharova will serve as a co-chair. 04.04.2019

 Bolshoi’s Opera soloists, Choir and Orchestra, led by maestro Tugan Sokhiev, appear again in France, performing Russian music at the most prestigious (and already very familiar) concert halls – Halle aux Grains in Toulouse and the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez of the Philharmonie de Paris. 08.03.2019
