Бернард Робертсон


Bernard Robertson has been assistant conductor for productions at many major venues throughout Europe: Edinburgh International Festival, Glyndebourne, Strasbourg, Bayerische Staatsoper, and Palau de les Arts Valencia. He has a special interest in choral conducting.

He has played orchestral keyboard (piano, celesta, organ) with virtually every UK symphony orchestra, and for several of Matthew Bourne’s dance productions, as well as for West End musicals, film and radio and television soundtracks.

As continuist he has played in many of the leading London-based period instrument ensembles: Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Academy of Ancient Music, Gabrieli Consort, English Concert - and with BBC Singers, and the Royal Concertgebouw.

Orchestra.Performances at the Bolshoi Theatre: in 2015, he took part in the premiere of Rodelindna; in 2017, he participated in Baroque Music Evening (harpsichord and continuo).
