Biography
Sivaev showed his artistic talent at an early age in Moscow Kids' Musical Theatre. He staged performances by students of Russian Academy of Theatre Arts, acting and directing department, R.Nemchinskaya and A.Fedorov. In 2008 graduated from Moscow Art Theatre School, Staging Department, under supervision of Damir Ismagilov.From 2007 till 2011 has been working in the Bolshoi theatre lighting department as a lighting director.
From 2008 till 2012 has been working with Gleb Filshtinsky as his assistant.
As a lighting director, Sivaev has been working with many theatres in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and other Russian cities such as: The Bolshoi theatre, the Mariinsky theatre, Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, Eifman Ballet, Moscow Art Theatre, Moscow Pushkin Drama Theatre, Moscow Young Generation Theatre, Sovremennik Theatre, Theatre of Nations etc.
Sivaev is an author of lighting for musicals Love and Espionage, The Scarlet Sails, All About Cinderella.
In collaboration with the Stage Entertainment company he designed the scenery for the Russian versions of musicles such as: ZORRO, The Soung of Music, Cinderella.
In addition to that, he designed lighting for many performances on ice.
