Денис Солнцев


Since 1991 serves as lighting designer in Moscow and St.-Petersburgh theatres. Since 1999 he is resident lighting designer at the Baltic House Festival Theatre.

Cooperates with famous directors, among whom are Victor Cramer, Igor Konyaev, Andrei Moguchy, Valery Fokin, Yuri Butusov, Andrei Zholdak, Klim, Ruslan Kudashov, Timofey Kulyabin, Vladimir Zolotar etc.

He created the lighting for performances No Words, Story of Glupov-town by M. Saltykov-Schedrin, Memorial prayer by Grigory Gorin, Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen, Man, best and virtue by Luigi Pirandello, Fathers and Sons by Brian Friel, Onegin by Pushkin, The Taming of the Shrew by Shakespeare, Slave-girls by Ostrovsky, Dovlatov.
