Alexander Vorobiyov was born in Moscow. In 1998 he finished the Moscow Academy of Choreography (class of I. Uksusnikov), and joined the Bolshoi Ballet.His master-repetiteur was Yuri Vladimirov. Retired in April 2020.

He also performed the role of Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake (S. Bobrov version) of this theater on the Krasnoyarsk stage.
