Biography

Anastasia Sorokina was born in Aktyubinsk (now Aktobe, Kazakhstan).
In 2014 she graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Area Studes.

In 2012, performed the role of Diana in Acteon by Charpantier (as part of an internship in Besançon, France). The following year appeared in several concert programs in Chengdu (China) as part of the student delegation of the Moscow State University.

From 2014, she studied at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre (Makvala Kasrashvili’s class), where performed Xenia (Boris Godunov by Mussorgsky), Micaela (Carmen by Bizet), Brigitta (Iolanta by Tchaikovsky).


In 2018, she joined the Bolshoi Theatre Opera Company as a soloist.
