About Us

Savonlinna Opera Festival will present Verdi’s opera at the New Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre. The premiere of this performance (directed by Nadine Duffaut) took place at the Chorégies d’Orange Opera Festival (France) in 2014. The premiere in Savonlinna will be held this July (Otello is a co-production of the French and Finnish festivals). And two short months later, the audience of the Bolshoi Theatre can see this production.
