Peretyatko and Costello can be called an established duet: a few months ago they sang the main roles in Rigoletto by G. Verdi (staged by Michael Meyer) at the Metropolitan Opera.

Olga Peretyatko, whose voice is acclaimed the "shimmering coloratura of the XXI century", became one of the most in-demand performer of Violetta Valéry after her brilliant debut in La Traviata at the Lausanne Opera (2015, in 2016 the performance was released on DVD). Since Olga received invitations to sing in this opera at least twice a year – and every time in a new production (!). In 2016, Olga sang Violetta on the stage of the Festspielhaus in Baden-Baden (directed by R. Villazon), in the production of the Mariinsky Theatre (directed by Charles Roubaud), and in early 2017 she sang in the Metropolitan Opera’s production (directed by Willy Dekker).

Alfredo Germont, performed by Stephen Costello, also gained international attention at the biggest opera houses of the world, such as the Royal Opera and the San Francisco Opera (both performances were broadcast live), opera houses in Vienna, Hamburg, Berlin. Currently, Stephen Costello is a sought-after lyric tenor in the prime of his career, the owner of the prestigious Richard Tucker Award. Stephen also became famous as a performer of the leading roles in the operas by G. Donizetti and C. Gounod; he participated in the world premiere of the opera Moby Dick by American composer Jack Heggie, which has been met with rapturous praise in the US. Stephen Costello is familiar to the Moscow public due to the concert performance of the opera L'amico Fritz by P. Mascagni in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, where he sang with his wife, soprano Ailyn Perez (in 2012 she performed Mimi in La Boheme at the Bolshoi). His current debut at the Bolshoi Theatre is a part of his tour in Russia and Armenia, which also includes a concert with Dinara Alieva at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and La Traviata at the Yerevan Opera and Ballet Theatre.

For Armenian tenor Liparit Avetisyan the stage of the Yerevan Opera and Ballet Theater is native, and the role of Alfredo Germont is one of the most significant in his repertoire. The performance at the Bolshoi continues the series of the singer’s significant debuts in this role at the Royal Opera House (2016) and at the Opera Australia in Sydney (2017). In the next season, Liparit Avetisyan is engaged in the productions of La Traviata at the Dresden Semperoper and at the Hamburg State Opera.
